We are looking for a self-motivated building structural engineer with 3-6 years of experience for a project engineer position in our Lakeville, MA office. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, but a Master’s Degree is preferred. Candidates should have an EIT and be on track to prepare for the Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration exam. Ideal candidates will have experience with wood, masonry, concrete and steel framed building structures. Candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office. Experience in Ram Structural Systems, CSC Tedds Engineering Library, Staad Pro or other 3D Frame analysis programs is required.

The responsibilities of this position include performing structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience. Candidates will be required to provide plans and design as well as review shop drawings, perform field observations and prepare field reports during construction progress. Candidate may also direct and supervise other Designers/Drafters activities.

Structural engineering candidates will be assigned to work on development projects of varying size and scope. Project types may include retail, multi-family residential, commercial, medical / institutional and mixed use. Candidates must be able to work well in a team and possess strong verbal and written communications skills.
