We are looking for a self-motivated building structural engineer with 6-10 years of experience for a project manager position in our Lakeville, MA office. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, but a Master’s Degree is preferred. Candidates must be a licensed Professional Structural Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Massachusetts. Ideal candidates will have experience with wood, masonry, concrete and steel framed building structures. Candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office. Experience in Ram Structural Systems, CSC Tedds Engineering Library, Staad Pro or other 3D Frame analysis programs is required.

The responsibilities of this position include performing structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience. Candidates must be able to work independently and shall be required to provide plans, design, and layout as well as structural project specifications, review shop drawings, perform field observations and prepare field reports during construction progress. Candidates shall be required to direct and supervise other Designers/Drafters activities as well as interact directly with clients.

Structural engineering candidates will be assigned to work on development projects of varying size and scope. Project types may include retail, multi-family residential, commercial, medical / institutional and mixed use. Candidates must be able to work well in a team and possess strong verbal and written communications skills.
